Synopsis
What can I know? What ought I to do? What can I hope for? Immanuel Kant thought these were the fundamental questions in philosophy. In this short video, I explore different ways to do philosophy (literally as a practice), and attempt to present some arguments philosophers have give to these basic questions about the nature of knowledge, the scope of ethics, and our expectations about the afterlife.
